EarningsCatalyst is a research tool for swing and momentum traders. This page covers what data we process and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What we collect and why
We collect only what we need. You can use most of the Service without an account.

We do not collect payment card details, brokerage-account information, or portfolio holdings.
Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6): account data and rate-limit counters are processed to perform our contract with you; analytics and security are processed under legitimate interests; non-essential cookies require your consent.
Who we share data with
We use third-party providers acting as processors under GDPR Art. 28 for hosting and infrastructure, authentication, transactional email, and product analytics. Our product analytics provider is PostHog (EU-hosted). Some other providers operate outside the EEA; we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses for those transfers. We don’t sell your data or share it for advertising.
EU/EEA users are asked to consent to analytics via our cookie banner before analytics are enabled.
Age
The Service is for users 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent for analytics at any time. You can delete your account yourself in Settings. For other requests, use the in-app feedback button (sidebar → Feedback). We respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence.
